High Five for Fridays! Life & Love

Pucker Up Friday, I’m Going in for a Kiss. {Smooch!}

Well, on my goodness my little honey bears… it’s November.  Am I the only one sitting in my chair just stunned about this latest development. November!?! How did that happen? I am excited to welcome this new month, as I will be honest October kicked my ass. I have felt off balance for a few weeks, I blame the change of seasons and I am still working on getting my much beloved mojo back.

But November? Really? I remember ringing 2012, as if it were weeks ago not 11 months. I can hardly believe that we are coming to the close of another year! Here comes Thanksgiving followed by Christmas cheer and NYE.  But, as always… I am getting way ahead of myself. I need to look at the immediate future, like heading to a Wales vs USA rugby game on Sunday and my sister arriving on Tuesday! Exciting things are right on the horizon kittens!

But before I move on, I have to ask… do you ever do that? Look far into the calendar and maybe miss a moment currently right in front of you? That is a problem my over-planning self has every once in a while.  But, I am working on it: Being more present and aware of today and tomorrow, along with the next 90 days.

Speaking of enjoying today…are we all enjoying the post-Halloween candy? Oh, and enjoying the fact that it is our fave day of the week? HELLO Friday!  And of course, no Friday is complete without a little Starbucks lovin’ whoop whoop! Yes, that is me kissing my first red cup of the season. Judge my over excitement for red Starbucks cups if you’d like but seeing those bad boys totally made my morning.

And the first day of November also marks the birthday for one very lovely lady my bestie back home, Shannon.  I has her Maid of Honor at her wedding, and she was my Matron of Honor. To say I adore this lady is a massive understatement.  Shannon is gorgeous inside and out, and the world is a better place with her in it. Love you Shan! Can’t wait to see you in a few weeks!!

And now, I would like to share with you a few of my faves I discovered this past week:

Kate chatting about her plan to survive zombies made me laugh out loud.  {Holy moly. This girl is creative!}

I loved reading about Margarita’s  Oktoberfest in Leavenworth {cute German-style town}. Makes me miss my home state of Washington!

Danielle sharing her visit to a chocolatier’s home has me dreaming a bit of WIlly Wonka!

Quinn is hosting a fun giveaway to celebrate her 30th birthday.  If your blog needs a new and fresh design, check it out! {Happy Belated Birthday Quinn!}

I loved how Melanie’s visit to Oxford let her reflect on the path life has take her so far. Lovely, just lovely.

Before we all skip off to have another kid-sized Mars bar, let’s all stop and meet the delightful Kristyn from Chits & Giggles!

Let’s see. I am an engaged, cat loving woman who happens to own a house. I live in the amazingly, yet hot, city of Atlanta. Please don’t call it HOTlanta to me. That is so 1990. Give me sweet tea, Chick Fil A, and sundresses any day and I will be one happy woman. I love reading, planning our wedding, trying new recipes, attempting to work out, and photography.

My blog is my sanctuary that I talk about anything and everything. I like keeping things real around the old blog and talk about whatever is going on in my life.

Guys, there is alot to love when it comes to Kristyn  and her blog. First off, she is honest and open {like posting pics of herself in a bikini honest}  about her body, and that bravery is something to admire.   Or when she writes a heartfelt love post to the beloved Tagalong. {I am with you girl, those are the best!}  I love her successful Pinterest inspired projects, she is way more craft than I am! And if you want cuteness overload, make sure to hop over a see her engagment pics.  Adorbs!   I also love her 5 happiness resolutions, which has me thinking of my own. Hmmm….

 Make sure to pop over and visit Kristyn, say hello and get to know this lovely lady even better!

What are your plans for the weekend? Anything wonderfully out of this world? Enjoy the first foray in November!

  • thanks for the shout out! I’m celebrating Halloween tonight (silly thursday halloweens) so my weekend will probably be filled with lots of lazy hungover times. Although there’s some bonfire night fireworks happening Saturday night (jumping the gun a bit) so excited for that! We may not get fourth of july here but we get bonfire night fireworks 🙂

  • I can’t even believe it’s November either. What happened?!

  • October was a whirlwind. Now it’s November and less than a week until my baby turns 4. Yikes! I had all these plans for before his birthday but kept planning for the changes coming with it, and I have no idea how I’m going to get even half done. But at least we’ve still be having fun.

  • your Friday posts always bring a smile to my face. always!
